Got a killer deal on a 1994 VR4 !

I lucked out and came across a fantastic deal on a 94 VR4 with a glass roof. Saw the ad online and had to jump on it (price so low I thought it was a joke). 1 owner car 74k original miles. Only modification is a small amp in the rear with a small sub tucked in the corner. Serviced mostly all at Mitsubishi dealer is what the receipts look like in the glove box. The owner unfortunately got ill back in 2005 and the car has sat ever since. The daughter inherited it about a year ago and sold it to me the other day.
After some spark plugs, fuel change, oil change and a battery the car fired right up. But there was a terrible noise coming from the rear of the motor. I suspected the rear turbo right off the bat. After a few days of messing with it, sure enough the rear turbo exhaust side propeller had snapped off. Fortunate for me I had a spare one on my extra motor. So I put it all back together and She sounds great. Test drove and the transmission feels great as well.
Now I am working on painting it as the sun faded / damaged the exterior. It is burgundy and I decided to start with the top. Going black with that. After looking at some dings, key scratch from a mad women (from what I was told), and some damage once repaired on the drivers door that looks bad... I think I have decided to change the color. I didn't want to do the extra work at first but think I talked myself into it haha
Interior is great other than the driver seat and a missing drivers floor mat and cup holders. I also scraped the nasty purple window tint off everything except the rear hatch so far... going to be tricky getting that off leaving the defrost intact.
All in all can't be happier with the score !!!!
