I got the stock switch and garnish installed now and everything works on the control side but I haven't found a shop to weld in the cutout yet. This is just going to be switch activated. No rpm or boost sensing. I don't want it getting loud all the time I get into boost. If Greg ever gets the dual tables working in Chrome I can have a more agressive tune when the cut out opens up since he's planning to base the maps off the AE switch.

Joined the 400WHP today. I'm still learning how to tune. I'll share my chart here with 100 octane. I reverted to the timing table I had just previous but didn't take away any fuel. As a result it's pig rich (10 AFR) when boost kicks in and only leans out when I crank up the boost. I pretty much maxed out the 560s with this tune so I expect I could pull fuel to about 11 AFR and probably get close to 450WHP on 100. I still have the rev limit at 7000, might turn that up to 7500. The car seems to break up slightly at the top end, guessing it is spark starting to blow out. Is that even likely at my power level?

I think so, stock gap? I like to run a tighter gap anyway because I believe the "stock gap" is a little wide and more for fuel economy.

    Edit: congrats BTW

I'm running heat range 7 coppers with .032 gaps right now on the stock coils and voltage.

Seems like I run NGK coppers with .028, I'm pretty sure I've done that for years now after doing some research back when we were on the older site.

I can't remember the heat though.

Forgot to mention all those ~400WHP runs were done with TOP DOWN

I had two 4th gear pulls but didn't have the guts to stay in them past 6000 rpm.

I was on an 8 lane freeway that during commute traffic averages about 30 mph. But this was Saturday before noon and traffic was very lite. I would slow down to like 60 mph and the car in the next lane would catch up and then I would floor it and the car next to me fricken dissappeared! Going fast is a rush with the top down especially on those 4th gear pulls which hit just over 130 at 6000 rpm. Not enough separation between cars for that to feel safe enough.

When I got home and checked logs there was a knock count here but the pulls were all super clean.

I'm posting up some detailed charts from my best pull so far. This was a 412 WHP pull with 0 knock. It looks very smooth in Virtual Dyno however at least at the top of the pull I could sense some slight hesitations like possibly spark blowout. I was also running close to 100% IDC if I can believe the logs. I know my tune is way too rich and Abram said I should be able to get to > 500WHP on my hot wired Supra pump and 560 injectors based on his experience with the Supra fuel system. So I don't think I am out of fuel up top. As I said I have 0 knock and my wideband is reading less than 12.

What's bothering me is two things. First my boost is not as stable as I would like. I'm seeing at least ±3 psi ripple across the rpm range. I've gone back and looked at some early logs when I was just wastegate and I also see ripple though maybe not as much. So the first thing I'm wondering is whether those stiffer Dr Weldin wastegate springs are actually a source of trouble. Because they are so stiff I think the dynamic performance of them is much slower than the stock springs would be. My AVC-R boost controller has a feedback setting I can play with to see if I can tune around this so that's what I will try first.

The second one is the hesitation up top. I'm using range 7 coppers gapped to .032. I don't think I want to gap them any lower with my crappy 91 octane so I was thinking this is a good time to try out my voltage booster idea to pump up the coil voltage to 15 or so.

I don't see why trying to gap them down would not be a good idea. Might try a manual boost controller to diagnose the stability issue.

Help them, for they know not that which they do not know!
