    Just a Quick Poll

You have a neighbour who happens to work at the same place you do. He's well mannered, never late, takes a seat in your car that isn't otherwise used and doesn't cost you anything extra to drive him to work. Just because I'm curious, what would you do?
"This is a ridiculous cause and effect suggestion."
"Yeah, kind of like the sun rising and then morning happening, eh? What are they trying to pull on us?"

"If I wanted to hear from an asshole, I'd fart into a microphone."

"It's easy. Take the last f*ck, and let it go, and thus you shall have no more f*cks to give."

So you would want him to either give you ass, grass, or gas? What if he wanted to give you some ass, you would find that as an acceptable form of payment?

In reality, he should pitch in for gas, since he is saving money by riding with you... or he could drive you ever other week.

Well I voted that one cause I figured AO might want that option.

    1) Sorry for the multi-thread posting, I don't know why it posted it three times instead of just correcting. Derp. xD

    2) Ass, gas or grass is slogan off of a bumper sticker so I figured I'd put it that way. Its interesting because you guys overwhelmingly expect compensation for not doing anything other than what you'd be doing anyways, just because it makes someone else's life easier.

Neighbor should pay his fair share.

That's an assumption, perhaps he's willing and able to drive himself, or just didn't beat you to offering to car pool. There's nothing there that says he's a moocher, just that carpooling in that situation is less wasteful overall (and hence cheaper in total than both of you driving on your own).

You must be a liberal arts college attendee.

If you want to get technical:

-Added weight of degenerate co-worker who can't drive himself to work like a grown adult = less MPG (oh no, the environment!!)
-Added wear & tear to passenger side of vehicle by aforementioned chuckle head. Resale value goes down.
-Added wear & tear on suspension parts due to fat ass riding shot gun.

My points have a very small effect, I know. Doesn't mean I'm not right.
