    Thanks!

We're moving all of our stuff into a POD while the new place is being built. It will be great financially but we will be living with the inlaws for the next few months! They are awesome people, but we are going to miss our space and privacy.

These are all reasons why I could never move from Texas. Tiffany and I could never fathom spending what homes cost in other parts of the country.

Even more so, moving from Rowlett, prices here are much lower than other places in the Dallas Fort Worth area.

We are closing on our sale on Friday. We have already moved in with Tiff's parents and will be staying there for 5-6 months while our new place is being built. We will also be saving our down payment money during this time.

This is just a rendering of the floor plan, not our actual new home.

    Here is the actual picture.

Depending upon your profession, its wasnt as bad as you might think. In 2004, we went from Frisco Tx. to Sacramento Ca. and although our payment went up 700 a month, we got 3x the house and my salary bump covered that twice over

That is true, if your salary increases in proportion to the cost of living, it would still be the same percentage of income.

Just still seems crazy to me. haha

agreed... took a bit to get used to, but the house made it worth it.

Nice job on yours, by the way!
