About two months ago, I changed my clutch pedal "calibration" (the nut by the pedal) because it wasnt within the factory specifications. About 5 weeks later, the clutch finally started to slip (it was the stock one on a 151k mile car).
I ordered an ACT HDSS clutch kit from Maximal and had it installed yesterday. This clutch engages VERY quickly, and I have a ton of freeplay (Ill get you specs tomorrow morning).
The clutch is actually so grabby that the car is hard to get going in 1st gear. Ive actually stalled on flat surfaces, and Ive NEVER stalled the car ever before. This is the first stick car that Ive owned and driven, so I dont know what to expect.
If I change the amount of freeplay by minimizing it, then can it make the clutch slightly less grabby?
Thanks!
