If yours is new, than by all means it should be fine.
Use a stock OEM t belt.

The OEM is that much better? Shouldn't Autozone or O'reilly's have the same quality?

Gates is also a good brand to look at if OEM is out of your price range for certain items. I am using Gates T-Belt, Water Pump and Koyo Idlers/Tensioner pulleys. No problems after 2 years now.
I did go with the OEM hydraulic tensioner and with my next engine I'm using a OEM Oil Pump. Don't skimp on the OEM hydraulic tensioner or an OEM oil pump!! Heard to many people have issues with non-OEM Tensioner/Oil Pumps failing.
Well I will be ordering the timing belt soon. If the motor has almost zero miles on it and it looks like a new tensioner, should I bother getting a new one? It won't wear just sitting there will it? I'm still trying to piece all the maintenance information together I can right now.
Disregard. I was informed of a lot of misinformation I had. I should be getting on the straight and narrow now!
