I do not envy the crew assigned to pull that out of the water.

That's certainly some crazy stuff that happened over there!! I know there's a large crew from where I work that are frantically trying to get fiber and a bunch of telecommunication services back up & running again...it's times like this that makes living by no ocean actually a positive thing.

Hopefully those who were affected personally by this can recover as best as they can and that the cities can start the rebuilding process as soon as possible.

Thanks for the photo updates, too.

We lost a few trees. Our house is still without power. The shop came out clear and we still have power here. I've got tons of pics on facebook of our downed trees. We lost 2 60'+ pines and a 50' cedar tree.

Here is the one that fell away from out house and just missed our neighbor's house and the power lines.

This was the other tree that came down and just brushed up against our neighbor's house.

And our cedar that just missed another house. It took out part of our willow tree and landed on a little shed we have out back.

Surely they'll use helicopters to get it onto the beach and out of the water so they can tear it down..? Regardless, what a task that is going to be.

Helicopters? I doubt it, if they got it in the air and half broke apart it would probably cause a crash. I’d say they will cut it up and pull it to shore in decent size pieces.
