Yeah that splitter looks good, I also got one and the grill from skillard. Your car looks so friggen shiny I recently got mine painted and it came back looking like shit so I had to polish it myself.

Yes they made it right, Don checked the very next day. The water on the door panel and the brand new carpet is what set me off the most. For the rest of the time there, the interior was plastic wrapped, they made sure it wouldn't get crap all over the place. And I learned a lesson, just because you can get the rear bumper off in an hour doesn't mean it will go back on in an hour.
We paid extra to have them power buff the whole car. When we bought the car is looked like somebody buffed the car during a sand storm. We could only get so many of the scratches out ourselves. The body shop made our "buffing" job look like it was done by a child.
We would like to have skillard44's grille also, but he hasn't made one that would allow you to keep the fog lights. If he does, we will be buying on.
Thanks everybody for the kind comments.
When I had my front apart it looked like you could recess the fog lights a little bit using the bracket they are mounted to. Why not try pushing them back a bit and hiding them behind the grill?
Also, ballpark figure what you paid to have the car wheeled out?
I will wait to see if skillard44 can make one to accommodate the fog lights. I really like the grille but it is not necessary. Plus, this is the first time, since bring the car home, it has been in one piece. I really don't feel like taking the whole front end off, again.
We have had the front and rear bumper off. Had to replace the oil pan. Have taken the interior of the truck out at LEAST 15 times. Taken the complete interior out of the car, to include the dash. The car has spent more time on ramps and jackstands than on the road. Had the upper half of the engine taken apart. Rebuilt the throttle body. And during this whole process we have made Cherry Hill rich.
We just want to enjoy her while we can, winter is coming up soon.
And sporting the RP05's as well Nice!
What size and offset are they? I was going to get some but wen looking into it they were 3 months out and had to pre-order... Price?
Help them, for they know not that which they do not know!

I bought them about a year ago (had them on the 94), had to wait a month to have them shipped from Japan. They are 18x8.5 30+ offset, cost was $1843 no tires. I bought them from StaticX motorsports, they were the only willing to do the order. I ended up calling Enkei USA headquarters to make sure I could even get the wheels shipped from Japan.
Don / April - she looks great!!! So, the whole roof and tonneau was resprayed? Was it dissassembled at all for this? How about the seals? Were they removed and then reinstalled or did you buy new? Did you use a two stage paint and did you have it block sanded to remove the orange peal?? Can you share the cost??
Lots of questions I know - I've been thinking seriously about repainting since my boss got his 69 Firebird back from repainting and it is soooo beautiful. Would love to hear all the details you're willing to share![]()
Fucking awesome! Spyders always look nice!
The spoiler was taken off the tonneau cover, the front seal was removed (above the windshield) and then it was sanded down and resprayed. They had some kind of nifty tape that they used to make sure they didn't get any paint on the seals they didn't take off. They had the car for about 2 weeks. We did buy a new back window seal ($10 from Cherry Hill). However, they didn't put it on because we didn't even know if it was available, that section will have to be repainted later on down the road (we already knew this before they proceeded). There is no over-spray anywhere. No noticeable orange peel either. We know the owner of the shop so he knows we are super anal. Labor is cheap in Waverly, TN. We removed/reinstalled the rear bumper ourselves (saved 4 hours of labor), the total cost was around $700, but we also had them power buff (professionally buffed) the whole car.
That is one of the better looking spiders I have seen. Congrats for giving it the love they require![]()
