Yes and no. Ive been using the washer trick (3st circa 2006) for a while even though I didnt need it on my stock stuff... I will always use that. Ive only got a few mils between the bracket and washer at stock tension, so ill just bottom it out with the ST's.

Ill finish the wot box install tonight and street test sunday.

The cam discussion was finally leaked from 3st... check it out on 3si...

Installed AEM 5 bar MAP sensor... The wiring harness came disassembled without any wire, so that was a surprise bonus... I installed it on the firewall temporarily. The tapered threads of the NPT port I intend to use are just too shallow. Oh well, next time the plenum is removed the sensor will be relocated.

The WOT box mounted perfectly beneath the dash on the passenger side in place of some HVAC component.

Holy datalogging cables... (blue is WOT Box, serial is WBO2, the other USB's are for the e-manage and evoscan)

No shit, but the one here was run into the ground by J.Fast doing everything he could to impress us.

So far my impressions of the WOT Box are not particularly good. Installing it was annoying because of the software. Adjusting it is annoying because of the software. Using it is annoying because the tach jumps around (no surprise), preventing you from knowing if changes you made via the crappy software actually wrote to the box, and finally, it cuts ignition only, meaning your injectors are sitting there dumping fuel. My first launch with it was OK, but it felt like it was at 4000 RPM's, not the 5000 RPM's I remember writing to the box. The next 2 launches were crappy bogs and the engine felt sluggish as hell (perhaps due to slight fouling of the plugs)... I'll attempt to set it to a higher RPM and try again soonish. I guess I'll attempt to resist the urge to dump all these fucking piggy backs until the next time the dash comes out...

I threaded my 5bar directly into intake mani after removing the big nipple just after the TB. Has worked well so far. Cooler spot than on firewall, but not sure if vibration from solid mtr mounts will hurt it.

I only vaguely remember it being mentioned that there could be hp limits with flash ecu (haven't read all of the threads in detail) and your next setup you may push the limits, so I vote AEM. Series 2 now has flex fuel software being released. Oh, and you have fuel and/or ignition cut

I'd keep the maft you have and run the flash ecu for everything else. That will also avoid any power limits the maximum maf signal limitation in the flash ecu has.

the flash ecu can be made to register whatever airflow you want it to. the limits havent been tested, but i have hit 3800hz... thats a lot of resolution for power.

but i fully admit that live tuning with the safc is pretty baller, so there's that.

adam, on a personal note, thanks for looking into things like the cams and valve springs. if i had more time to give on it, i wish i could have been in the middle of the discussion. but, alas, i am going to have to try and read and understand when i get on here once or twice a week.

Have you ever looked into the Rush Racing Antilag box? Rush Racing Development It builds boost instantaneously like a "real" 2-step/antilag. I have the older single-button version and it works amazingly well. On the stock twins at would build 15psi at 4800RPM in about 2 seconds; on the 6266 it will open the wastegate and shoot a nice fireball under the car almost instantly.
