I have driven two cars with EMS series 1 and both of them it took more than 10 seconds to start and neither one of them run as smooth and nice as stock. they sure do make lot more power

other one was on bone stock engine 19T turbos and other one was a stroker.

Wow, I've got like $450 into my eManage setup! I've always kind of wanted an EMS but don't know if I could handle tuning it.

    This.

My car takes just a hair longer than stock for it to start. It just takes a couple more rotations for the AEM S1 to get it's footing and figure out when it needs to step in and start the party. When I say that though it still usually fires roughly one (yes 1) second after you key it. That's on E85 too. It's noticably longer than stock but just barely.

Any AEM S1 car that takes 10+ seconds to start needs a new tuner.

The S2 gets it's footing even faster and it's supposed to be unnoticable on startup.

And any AEM is going to drive leaps and bounds better than any piggyback car with equal (good) tuners. My drivability is awesome now...way better than it was with the Emanage Ultimate, MAP ECU, or ARC-2.

We run series 2 in Shawna's (4G63GIRL) Evo, at first it was the same as series one, but now with the latest software patch from AEM, it truly is instant start-up like a stock ecu.
