Video on the Diamondback, NC 226A

Here's a video I took before the engine quit turning. A little conservative since it was the first time on the road and I didn't know what to expect with all the blind curves. I'm processing the second part for youtube now, it's NC 80 "THe Devil's Whip" and both of them together are known as the "Diamondback Loop".

Finished up part two of the Diamondback loop. Damn SD card got full just before reaching the end of the run. I guess I'll have to go back again and do it all over.

A photo on NC 80 taken by Blindkenny.com is attached.

    Very nice little jaunt, John.
Ranked No. #1 in initial quality

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.

Will do. I plan on running the Devil's Triangle & the Cherohala skyway in the near future (read that next spring/early summer) & I wil advise you when I do in case you are available to join in on the fun. I think I am going to plan my fall foliage trip a little different next october. I'm thinking of staying at the diamondback lodge for a couple of days and run the BRP both ways end to end and do the Diamondback Loop along with some of the other local roads in between.

Added a second video to the first post showing NC 80, "The Devil's Whip" that is the second half of the "Diamondback Loop".
