Woo Hoo, 1st post. So, what else to you own worth mentioning?

My summer daily driver is an '04 Saturn ION Red Line that I bought new in Sept of 2004. It has the 2.0 L supercharged ECOtec 4 cyl/Gretag 5 speed that is basically the SAAB 93 turbo 4 banger with a huffer instead of a hairdryer. GM rated it at 205 SAE crank HP and right out of the box it dyno'd 216 at the wheels which is around 254 at the crank. Bone stock it runs a 14.40 - 14.50 ET at 99.7 MPH in the 1/4. A factory stage II kit is available that has a smaller pulley, larger injectors and an ECU remapping for around $900 installed that will bump up the HP to 275 at the wheels and right around 325 at the crank. Not bad for a 2900# car with a Nurburgring tuned suspension. It is very fun to drive down on-ramps to Interstates and is a blast at autocrosses and track days and is a great DD that gets 28 MPG while driving it like it is a rental.

I have an 03 Maxima SE as my DD. It's an automatic, but still fun to drive around and beats working a clutch in traffic. Has about 103,000 miles on it and runs great. Has more than enough power to get onto the highway, and can handle the ramps well. And best of all, it has a lot more room inside than the 3000. Bottom end is definitely better on the Max, mid range is about the same, but the 3000 is better top end (most likely due to the exhaust mods).

No plans for any mods, as it is just a commuter car and runs perfect the way it is.

Pictures are on my computer at home, so maybe later I will post.

We picked up a BMW 335i back in late April of this year. Haven't had it to the track yet, but it should run mid 13s at around 105 MPH. Not bad for a 4 door people hauler.

The problem with it is the car is so well built, we don't drive our other cars any more. The VR-4 and the Supra are just sitting around doing nothing but getting flat spots in the tires while the batteries die.

Sooner or later the new will wear off and we'll start driving the other cars again. Maybe...

My daily driver - '03 Focus SVT. 26mpg city, 35 highway, and is rather fun to drive. Getting beat up by the sand down here so I'll use a pic from when I got it (looked a lot better then).

The other project car - '88 Conquest TSi. Had it since I was 17. will be 12 years of ownership in about 3 weeks. When I can afford to, it will get that 3.5 in it. (and that is not me in that pic)
