    Haltech
    Autronic (tuners in QLD)
    Motech

There's your top three. Google search for who tunes in what state.

Don't get me wrong, AEM EMS is good from all reports from 3/S guys, but why when we have the good stuff local?

I sorta agree, until I have done an AEM EMS series 2. Startup, idle, on throttle, it is all so much better. Plug and Play and the support available for the AEM makes it an easy choice.

Yes, but pretty sure not as a plug in affair.

Mega squirt can even be used. But the plug/play and support of the AEM EMS 2 makes them kinda pointless IMO.

1600 vs. 400, That leaves allot available to pay someone who knows the MS to tune for you.

I think anything suitable for our engine can be used, its a matter of taste. Many people in europe use something else than AEM EMS.

Yeah Scotty the only one I like or have seen great street ability with is Haltech. Motech I hate and will never use again (I had a problematic LT8 that cost me a small fortune to sort out and it ended up being the device, they would not reimburse me for the time spent) Autronic mmm don't really know much about them. I just like the feature rich issue of the EMS thats all.

Anything's available. Just not as a plug n play option sadly.

Yeah. I think the only plus (and it's a pretty big one) is that you guys in the US have run the AEM EMS and know the setup. Most ecu's are a much of a muchness so it's not like you need to go to another country to get tuned just because it's not big in another country.

Mate - I love my Haltech. I'de even let you have my mapping if it would save you some money. I guess it would be cheaper all round to buy the AEM as you'de save on wiring the ecu in and on the unit itself.

MMM Well the wiring is nothing I can do that myself, I fit/integrate electronics into new cars as my job, half the bloody time I'm doing the R&D... The only thing stopping me on the AEM is finding someone who could tune it... I'll need to find someone. I can get the AEM for $1200 AUD.
