    Very nice!

Looks like it will be similar to the IPS one I picked up last week.

i wouldnt use a used oil cooler, youll never make sure its 100% cleaned out. (to little cost for the insurance of a new core)

I got to agree. If I spun a bearing I would throw away my oil cooler before the next build. Not saying you will be OK, just what I would do.

On a spun bearing motor I always throw away the oil cooler. I bought a used Setrab off eBay, cleaned it out with about 6 cans of brake cleaner and 1/2 a gallon of acetone using about 20 coffee filters mostly so I could see the tiny particles with a fresh filter. I've had no issues and done something similar before for over 20k miles. You just need to be very thorough when you're cleaning it out. Erron recommended it since that is what he has done for years while using his car on the road course pushing harder than any of the abuse our cars see and he hasn't had any problems. I won't recommend it to just anyone since you're only saving about $2-300 but it can be done.

That was my justification to buying the IPS one. I got it in last week, it is a great kit!

I was hoping you'd chime in, this is based on some work you posted a few years ago

Also wanted to see what others are doing about their old rusty OCs.

I don't recall u mentioning acetone before. But certainly the clean filters check make sense & don't mind using elbow grease.
