    Radio stays on

The radio stays on on my 95 base all of a sudden, only thing I worked on was replacing the glove box. Thus draining the battery like crazy. with turning on the ignition I was able to turn off the actual radio but the lights still stay on with antenna half up. Everything else is off on the dash. Weird. any input is appreciated.

    That is odd.

Does your base have the infinity system? The radio ties directly into the amp under the seat and uses the passenger side wire harness for power and signal delivery to the tweaters.

Stereos these days are like amps. They have a main power wire and a small one that goes to switched (to tell it to turn on). I'd say that switched wire got pinched or something.

I have a car that does that from time to time, but only when playing CD's. (Stock system with 6 disc changer.) Turn the car off, and the head unit looks like it goes off, no lights or anything, but music still plays. I press the power button on the HU to turn it off, but that turns the display and lights of the HU back on, press it again and everything goes off.

So far I haven't bothered to look into it, it's only happened 2-3 times in about 6 months, figured there's a short or bad connection somewhere.
