    Cool VR4 little sister

first of all YAY. im the first to post in this catagory. lol

second im sad to say i do not own my 95 3kgt N/A anymore, it was a very sad day.

third i did pick up its little sister tho, i am now a proud owner of a 94 mitsu. eclipse GSX. i dropped two cylinders but picked up a turbo and AWD.

so now i have a new platform to learn about. i have done a couple "mods" in the 3-4 months i have owned my GSX and i have already learned quite a bit about the car.

if anyone has any questions about them ask away and ill either post up what i know or i will find what you need to know.

here she sits when i brought her home for the first time.

after a few weeks of cleaning and finishing the work that was not completed by the guy i got her from.
    free intake "hacks"

A little color under the hood, thats when it turned into my IRON MAN project.

the cruise didn't work so i just took it out, weight reduction.

Vacuum reduction "mod". less problem areas.

Clearing out some carbon, seafoam is the best.

Nice! I had a '92 Talon TSi FWD 7-8 years ago. That little thing was a riot -- I ran 13.9 @ 102MPH for less than $50. Hacked aircan, open downpipe, cheapo manual boost controller at 15psi was all it needed.

ballermj23 - i traded my 3kgt for it. my old 3kgt need alot of work to run good. but i was asking 2500 for my car when i was selling it.

HellBringer - i have not taken the GSX to the drags yet but maybe someday. when i got it, it was slugish and didn't spool very well but the guy i got it from said it was a pretty fresh rebuild so maybe the rings were not quite seated in yet but its been running like a camp now with the vacuum reduction and air can mods.

The timing belt looks like the oil pan bolts are to long. The 2 bolts in the front of the oil pan should be shorter than the others.

i'm debating about going AWD DSM for the winter versus picking up an NA 3K. I just hate driving a 3K in the winter in Grand Rapids, MI. Nothing like attempting to "plow" the roads with your front bumper and fwd.
