My Winterbeater.. soon to be 1JZ-GTE powerd

This is my 1990 Toyota 4runner with the pos 3.0 v6 engine.
It is fully equipped to handle the most demanding terrain , mostly the Icelandic artic and glacers.

*it is fitted with 44"x15"x18.50 Dick Cepek tires on 15" x 18" wide wheels

*and also equipped with a steering shock and a steering jack to help with the strain with those tires.

*Lower gear ratios of 5.71 with welded front diff and ARB locker in rear

    *3 auxiliary fuel tanks ( 75gallons )

*The body is only lifted 3" .

*The fenders are cut to make the wheels fit and fender flares added.

*Brake hoses made longer and axle breathing moved higher.

    * air pump and 10 gallon air converter, used to pump air in the tires after the air pressure in them has been droped down to 1psi for better float on top of
    snow

    * Engine adders are - aftermarked headers w. 3" open exhaust , and a K&N air filter.

*equipped with a Garmin GPS 182 software.
two ways of communicating is CB radio and the tait VHF.

    * working lights on the sides, extra electrical system , 2 large 120 W Hella lights in front , High-lift jack , Two roof racks

I live in Minnesota, our winters can get bad but not nearly bad enough to need something like that. Kinda wish they did just so I had an excuse to have a vehicle like that haha

What do you mean? I live in Duluth and could use that truck when Lake Superior kicks up blizzards. That thing is bad ass. My Eclipse is fun in the snow but not in more than 3 inches, bottoms out real quick then. I drag raced a truck in a blizzard one year in my vr4. Took it out just for fun. Smoked him.

That thing would fit in perfect here in Tennessee

Looks like a lot of fun.

If the A-Team lived in Iceland, this would be their vehicle. Only thing I'd say you need is a big huge brush guard on the front to help "persuade" things to get out of your way.

Awesome! My dad has a pickup with that engine and it's got loads of torque because of the gearing but it has no balls at all, haha. Should be a fun swap. A dude bought my old Supra to swap the engine into his '91 pickup for rock crawling.
