    E85 Tune

    I just had my Shelby tuned to E85. Made 720hp and 600 TQ. I think I'm going to like :race gas: for 2.50 a gallon.

    Thanks. Its got a Whipple 2.9 and supporting mods. It blew the stuffing out of my Kooks high flow cats the other day.

    I remember this car from the "other site". What did it pick up compared to premium? (91 or 93?)

    I think it's pretty funny. I mean, I understand the disadvantages of E85 over traditional gasoline (lower energy content per unit volume being a big one) as well as the arguments for economic reprecussions, particularly with government subsidies inflating the ethanol market, but overall it's a pretty strong answer to those that were wanting to reduce our foreign dependency on oil.

    I'm indifferent on the matter myself. That being said, I can't think of anyone that would hate E85 for purely mechanical reasons.
