How much whp will I be making???

Just wondering how much whp a ATX fwd tt will I be making. Pretty much a stock conversion, except for the downpipe.Think I might run about 6 to 7 psi on a n/a ecu(with safc1). Any Ideas, dyno numbers? I really would like to know where I will be. Also, a na intake plenum.

    Thanks

Stock DOHC autos put down 160-170, a BPU 10:1 TT running wastegate boost I am guessing maybe 230-240?

Figure out what you need to do after you dyno the car.

well if 15psi on 8:1 will give you about 260-280awhp so... ok maybe you could do it with 12-13 psi

My 10:1 vr4 with 13Gs makes 307awhp at 10psi on stock ECU and injectors with no tuning, and that's AWD obviously. I would think the fwd ATX could hit around that level. However, I have many more additional mods such as upgraded intercoolers, intake, full exhaust with no cats, and cam gears which all increase airflow through my engine, so 10psi for me is not like 10psi on a mostly stock setup.

Yea I have gutted pre cats, im going to get a nice downpipe,no main cat, safc 1, 360cc injectors, on a na ecu. Once I at least get the car running I will think of bigger mods, but I was sure I could hit 300whp, with my car being 10:1 and fwd, with just these. Whats the highest I could run without knock?

Depends on your tune and fuel. 10:1 compression is pretty high. You will probably hit knock at 9 psi. If you can keep the air/fuel charge cool you can get a few more psi out of it. Run the highest octane you can get. E85 will do great you could run with closed waste gates on that stuff. Good luck.
