    Need to borrow a 1g datalogger...

    Anyone in aus have a 1g datalogger i could borrow for a week? Ill pay postage and whatknot i just dont need to spend $120+ on one for some quick troubleshooting! If anyone has one they would let me borrow please let me know...

    you just need a laptop with a serial port and make your own cable. lots of diys/how-tos on here and 3si. then download the programs from your fav torrent site

    I use A serial > usb converter for my magna.... So is it possible to use that with the serial > obd cable too? I honestly never knew that. if its that easy ill find out how to do it quicksmart!

    Yes, you can use the usb to serial adapter.

    WTF Why do listings state it's OBD1 if it's NOT an OBD1 cable. FFS Ebay. Gah....Might suss out gaycar for a plug...

    Jaycar don't sell OBDI connectors. You don't need a plug anyway. Just use small spade connectors.
