Why do you need a catch can? Install the big krank in the rear, the small one on the front, and instead of having the front one go to to the intake have it go to the catch can. Leave the exit line on the catch can off or put a filter on the catch can if you want. Any of the oil will stay in there. Otherwise, just route the front hose off the front krank vent to the ground. That's how I have mine setup.

I want to make sure she isn't smoking, or putting oil in the IC system. It seemed like a good idea, so I got the STM deluxe catch can with a filter and Krank vents. So, I am trying to get it all in today.

Any pics would be great if anybody has installed these together before.

    Thanks for the reply.

There are a lot of threads, even on this relatively new forum, where both systems are explored. IIRC, big concern about boost and stock pcv valve.

So, do I not need the can and the vents are good by themselves? If so, how would you do it?

You only need the can if you are pushing oil into the intake. The front Krank vent is for making sure your PCV valve can't leak and pressurize the crankcase. The rear one helps keep vacuum on the crankcase when off the throttle.

You do have one big one and one small right? (Krank vents)

Yes, I do have one big and one small. So, the can isn't needed? With blow thru, does it still go to the intake?

Well a lot of times I think guys with blow through just vent to atmosphere on the rear one. I'd probably just run a hose under the car. With the rear Krank vent you wont have to worry about sucking in dirty air.

Sorry man, no, just the rear one. Instead of normally going to the bubble just run it to that catch can you got (put the valve in before the can) then run the other hose off that can under the car.
