I pulled into the driveway last week and the car just flat out died. I tried to start it back up, and it will just sit there and crank.
I checked for fuel and I think I have fuel to the rails. I pulled a plug after cranking it a while and could smell gas on it if I put my nose to it, but couldn't see or feel wetness.
I don't have spark. I've replaced the coil pack and still have no spark.
The ECI fuse is good. So is the engine fuse under the dash.
I set the plug and wire on top of the plenum and got in the car and cranked it to check for spark. It cranked with no spark for about five seconds, I think I heard the MFI click, then sparked for maybe 1 second. Then didn't spark any longer.
Could it be the MFI? I thought it was just for the fuel pump?
