Cool Split Second Motorsports 4" now available!!!

We have designed our new 4" long tube down pipe to allow the best flow possible. This Down pipe is designed to work with exsisting td04/tdo5/and t3 headers. Price $449.00

    Features:
dual 2.5" SS long tube pipes into 4" SS
    (1) 2.5" flex section to alow easier bolt up options to "other companies" headers
    (1) 4" flex section

    Compare to other Down Pipes

a typical piggyback (stock design)2.5 down pipe carries 7.85 cubic inches volume into a 3" pipe which bottle necks before the 3" pipe so you end up with 15.7ci into 7.85ci into 9.42ci

The new standard Y design runs dual 2.5" pipes into a 3" helping the bottle neck by producing 7.85 x 2 =15.7ci but still bottle necks into 9.42ci

The Split Second Motorsports 4" long tube DP provides 7.85ci x 2=15.7ci into 12.56ci allowing for much better flow

4" SS exhuast system also available in dual or single from headers back.
Dual system features the Long Tube DP runing 4" SS into dual 2.5 SS Pipes with 2 2.5" mufflers $1019.00

Do you have any pics or sound clips of the full exhaust? I assume that bolts right up to td04 headers? Does the downpipe in this setup have a flex section? I ask this incase the downpipes are different from the full setup to the one you posted. :-)

    Very nice product though.

what kept me from going 4" was the lack of a quad-tip catback for it. ....just a suggestion....

I second this. Couldn't you just weld on a quad tip coming out of the muffler without affecting air flow?
