Hey guys, just found a great new product to save some of the ugly aluminum bits under the hood. I found it while snooping through all the crap in my dads roller cabinet. It's called NevrDull, it's a cotton wadding with a REALLY good polishing compund to it. I tried it out on my power steering resivoir and holy crap did it ever work well, I then followed with some Mothers Mag Polish. It went from looking like a coral reef to a nice chromy finish

LOL! Not "new"! I used that stuff over 25 years ago to shine stuff on my first ship (in the Navy)... good times!

Hahaha, I was told it's nothing new, but it was the first time I had used it in the engine bay. I was pretty excited

ya its good stuff, i used to use it on chrome trim pieces, its a very easy but effective way to clean things up.

Yeah it's nothing new. It is very flammable so be careful when doing hot work around that stuff like grinding or torch cutting.

You need to get rid of that insulation under the hood. I believe you can get a replacement one kind of cheap. It looks good other than that sore thumb.

I also used Neverdull on my first ship. That was 34 years ago.
It's been around a while.

Wisco Pistons with new bores, Forged Crank, ARP Rod Bolts with ARP Bottom end & Head Studs, Stage 3 ported and polished heads with Brian Crower 272 cams, 3SX Adjustable Cam Gears, TD04 19T's, and supporting hardware.

Valve Covers and Plenum are polished aluminum, not chromed. All engine brackets sanded, primed and given several coats of gloss Red Engine Enamel.

Can't wait to get everything up and running. Will keep you posted.
