Crankshaft is back in the car... King sent me the wrong rod bearings but I had thankfully bought a set of VW Motorsports bearings. Clearances look good, 0.003" on the mains and 0.002" on the rods. A little snug, but I should be able to run a bit thinner oil which may help keep the lifters pumped up.
I've gotta put the trans back on and a few hours worth of putting things back together... but it's nearly able to be driven for the first time since before NG![]()
