I liked the hell out of Pacific Rim. then again I went into a Giant Robot/Monster movie just looking to be entertained by awesome visuals(saw it in 3D Imax) and loud noises. wasn't looking to experience some deep exostential sense of enlightment or to grow emotionally as a person. that being said that trailer was hilarious.
