I'm certainly not paying for the privilege to work on your car bro. I'm cool with that.

Yep. I spent 3 hours troubleshooting issues, 2 hours resetting the timing, 1 hours pre-tune inspecting. Another 3 hours tuning with 1hr on the dyno. You handed me $300?

I told you $500 cash yo! You showed up to drop off a poorly running bag of shit and $300. If it just needed a tune... sure $300. Needed re-timed, wideband doesn't even work (I had to install my own wideband), the fuel system is hacked together and needs to be unsorted, the ignition lead signal (Tac +12) was missing, wastegates/boost controller doesnt work, wasn't even safely running when you dropped it off and said "Hey she runs awesome, she's ready". Car needs a boost controller and more than likely another fuel pump. You want me to take that outa the $300? LOL

What's you spending 10g's on a Honda got to do with a professional unraveling your car?

Ima work on my race car tomorrow. Call MAC and pay for a Hallman, I can pick it up tomorrow when I stop by MOFAB for my intercooler pipes. I'll dig into the fuel system first thing in the AM and unriddle it so you don't die of respiratory failure from the fumes. After that.. that's it... she sits friend.

My wideband has always been wacky since the day it rolled off the dyno. IDK, but that is why Jer has my car. He's the expert, not me. Wow, funny how you have no idea who i am and what I am capable of and balls that people have staring at a PC.

He already said my PTU went bad, and timing. Said the car is runnning great but seems to be running out of fuel. I just put in the wally 400lph E85 pump which On Chris hills site says not to use unless u have 500+ hp. So, if I dont have enough pump why would that be stated on the description? I am just frustrated because I went with that pump for a reason. Either way, I have my guru working on it. We will see what is going on. Gonna pressure test and check my boost controller. wont go past 20 psi and falls off hard
Extreme yes but I'm conservatively recommending you don't get in over your head is all. I've seen the multiple engine rebuilds, transmission rebuilds, countless turbos you've gone through, and multiple shop horror stories. I applaud you for sticking with it because you've been to hell and back which is another reason why I merely suggested leaving it to an expert since you don't deserve anything less. It's obvious you don't feel comfortable tuning since you went with an AEM and have had a few AEM certified tuners has things out for you. The car will cost more money no doubt so at least look at that spending less time working on your car means more time with your wife and kids. Money is replaceable and can essentially be worth nothing. A family can't be replacing with anything identical. They could be gone the very next day. I know Jeremy will get all the issues sorted out and the car will run like a raped ape.

A heat gun will fix the black part if it is factory, and not paint. Be conservative next to the paint, but it will make it brand new...

Will work like Coop said but be careful with the heat gun. If you heat and form you have to get it twice as hot every time you re-heat to re-shape it. 50°c / 100°c / 200°c / 400°c and etc.

well, jer i guess im stuck. i know the car had issues but i had no idea the issues were that bad until now. I didnt know u worked on it that much. if thats all you can do then i will just get a trailer and bring it home. i dont want you working for free by no means. and $300 is not chump change btw. Thats alot of money. If it will be more then let me know, stop and ill pick it up and throw it in the garage at home. no need to spend more money that i dont have. You said $300-$500, not $500 flat, and was hoping it wouldve been an easier fix. guess not. No worries. You gotta do what you gotta do bro. Let me know and ill come get it when im off next sunday. Again Jer, I understand, nothing but love. Just not able to drop more money right now. I wear the pants, but my wife tells me which ones.
