I am so sad, wish I could take some of Rick's pain and loss. They were meant to be together. I am tore up at the loss of Brenda, and just as tore up at the loss Rick has to endure. She was everything to him.

This, I wish there was something I could do to take some of his pain

Talking to him a few days ago when we went to visit them, after he got the news that she had but a few weeks left on this earth, he was beside himself, only wanted more time with her. I am very sad.

I never had the honor of meeting her. Just knew her through the boards and pictures posted. Tiffany was really sad last night, I didn't know this but they talked from time to time on Facebook.

My heart goes out to her family and friends.

Funeral arrangements are as follows:

The will be no visitation/viewing/wake. The memorial services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, May 12th at the Norris Funeral Home in the Mt. Hermon Chapel. Her obituary will show in the Danville and Lynchburg, VA newspapers tomorrow.

We spoke with Nancy who said Rick is trying to hold up as best he can, but that he is having a tough go of it. Please keep him in your thoughts.

We miss you Brenda. Your strength and positive attitude through your battle was awe inspiring. Hopefully we can find some solace in knowing that your struggle is over and you rest peacefully. I feel so lucky to have known a beautiful and unique person like you.
