Who Has a Front Mounted Oil Cooler?

Since I plan to stick with SMICs on my car, and because my stock oil cooler lines are getting rusty, I would like to front mount my stock oil cooler.

I have already decided on the nylon braided AN lines, but I am wondering how I should mount the core. I have never had the bumper off this car so I'm not sure what mounting points are available/etc. I would like to do this as clean as possible (make the mounting almost like stock if I can) but I need suggestions. Anyone have pictures or a little write up?

Also, I am considering removing my AC since it doesn't really work/the pulley bearing is going bad/I never use it. Would removing this first make things easier? I am still on the fence about this though as I don't want to "molest" my car if you know what I mean.

the gzp one is nice and doesn't require removal of the a/c or anything like that. It still even fits with my 3.5" ets fmic.

Thanks for the links guys. I saw the write up on Stealth 316 but forgot about that one. As far as the GZP kit, it looks nice but I don't think my needs justify a larger core when I could just spend $80 on new lines, especially if I am going to front mount it. Ill keep it in mind, though!

Stock is barely capable of handling stock power. If you ever up the power, a larger oil cooler will be worth it.

You are insane to just move the stock one. You will pretty much be throwing 80 bucks out the window. Get a larger one like the one from GZP or something like that. You can probably save a few bucks piecing one together by buying stuff separately but to save hassle and time building the lines it's worth just buying a bolt on kit. If you're already buying the lines then it isn't much more to buy a larger core.

I've run the stock cooler front mounted as shown on stealth316 for almost a decade now, in hot TX and FL weather. No need to buy a larger one.

Aren't we thrifty, you could more than double the size for 50 bucks and make sure to keep the engines oil cool. I know people that run no oil cooler and don't have trouble. Doesn't mean it's smart though.
