I really thought Miami would manage to make it in that last minute. We couldn't stop their run whatsoever, but I guess desperation set in and they kept trying to throw deep balls.

On a side note, some of the guys on the UVA forum actually made fun of us for this, claiming that it is embarrassing for our fans to get so excited and uncivilized... No really...

Vpi's crowd today made me feel kinda sorry for them. Maybe embarrassed is the word.

Just be glad Braxton pulled up lame, it was your only hope... But I have to admit the games are alot more exciting than Tresselball.

The coach puts in the worst QB in all of football, his other 2 backups are no where near that bad... Pathetic excuse for a coach, hopefully he can get his act together.

And if the kid had been high stepping into the endzone then thats one thing, all I saw was him look back. Seems to me like he was making sure no one was behind him. Horrible call.

Yeah I am less than pleased with that call. I thought he was turning his head and opening his hands to say "What's up" which is taunting but that was child's play compared to other taunts I've seen. Feel really bad for the guy since that will probably be his only chance to ever score a touchdown.

Picked a bad weekend to go to my first red river shootout.

By my count during the game that I don't care to confirm, OU had 3 defensive TD's and turned other turnovers into a TD and FG. 31 points of a 38 point beat down. Embarrassing for the players, coaches, and all the Longhorn fans that left early.

Oh well. The offensive side of the ball is absurdly young and just couldn't recover from the early mistakes. I'm anxious to see if they can respond against Oklahoma State.

Our only hope was to turn our attitude around. Sorry, but an offensive player going out of the game is not going to be the sole or main cause for going 28 unanswered as we ran a train on OSU second half. Doesn't matter arguing the small stuff anyway. What's important is who comes out with the W.
