Im doing my VSS's soon and am wondering what seal has held to the test of time better? What is your opinion.
If you can just vote that is good too!

The oem's are Viton on the exhaust side and Nitrile on the intake.
I believe felpro's are viton all around
Viton is better, verify what you buy are viton and you will be goo to go
Never changed my VSS, but in general I don't have any problems with felpro gaskets.
I know my OEM ones have 76,000+ miles on them and dont smoke one bit. Knowing a lot of the history of my car its seen a lot of racing, and abuse. For the most part OEM is the way to go, they were designed to last. Not saying the fel-pro ones wont work, but i dont know if anyone has had a set in there car for 18+ years yet...

My Genuine ones have been in for 20 years, still going strong!.
I'm not sure if the felpro seals are the ones you can get from Autozone, but from what little experience I have with the autozone VSS, they fit around the valve stems LOOSER than OEM does (based purely on feel). I've always recommended OEM.
your not going to be wrong with OEM but then again iv never had any problems with fel-pro. I used fel-pro gasket kit with my Iroc-z and no problems even and its used and abused daily.
Many aftermarket seals are crap, but I would have no problem with Fel-Pro. Their viton valve seal quality is one of their best selling points.
