What does "verified" / "not verified" mean?

http://www.3sgto.org/images/verified.png Users that have this image below their name have had their address verified. Does that mean they are safer to purchase from? NO! It means they have provided two things with their address and in theory we have some contact information on them. The system is not foolproof so always careful.

Does it mean that these people are less safe to buy from? No. All it means is that we do not have verifiable contact information for them. Some are long time owners that just don't feel comfortable posting the required information via the Internet.
