I was on my way back from dropping clothes off at the dry cleaners. Went home and woke up my brother by telling him that the start of World War 3 was on TV.
In college and my room mate woke me up to say, "hey you might want to come watch the news" I said, "why dude"...he said, "just fucking do it." Now I am a fireman...strange.

Just closed on my first house (still there)... wife woke me up after a night of partying, she was crying. Asking if I am going back in the Military because of what just happened.... Went downstairs and I watched tv for about 3-4 hours before reacting.
Amazing I can recall what I was thinking while watching from 9 years ago.

I think everyone was completely stunned and had no idea what to do.
I was out looking for a job and didn't have a radio on so I walked into a lobby to try and drop off a resume and saw this on there TV.
I was getting ready for work. saw the news, still went to work. went to church afterwards and prayed.
I was in health class, Mr. Bieber. He took us into the teachers' lounge and told us we need to watch as this would be an important part of history. One of the greatest teachers I ever had. (8th grader)
