Wideband Controller
What wideband controller is everyone using?
I remeber someone (Mick?) posting about this one on the other site and was wondering if anyone had used it. It's Australian made and doesn't look too bad but i'm still not convinced. Maybe i'm better off with an AEM or something...

Zeitronix ZT-2 for me, well worth the money.

^ Just had a look at their website, looks very nice.

well, the LM1 just works.....BUT it's not a controller? just converts the signal to something the ECU can see (and I have an emanage ultimate I won't use that I was planning to hook it into) I was also after something dual band as I plan on going dual exhaust down the track.

I`ve had my ZT-2 7 years now and it`s never given a fault, if you buy the MAP sensor with it you can datalog on your PC.
The datalogger is very robust (uses a 232 serial port). When I`m 1/4 mileing all I do is leave the laptop running and everytime the car is turned off the logging stops, when I fire the car up agin it starts logging.
You can use a program called WinLog, feed it a good hours datalog from the ZT-2 and it will display and average AFR for every cell you define (I use this to tune my Emanage Ultimate).

Tim - that WB controller you posted I started a thread on 3si. I called them and was very close to buying but needed money for other things. I would go with that. It's heaps more expensive than the other options, but damn it will be accurate.

I was running the jaycar wideband controller/gauge seemed like a cheap option at the time, works ok but is bulky and ugly and takes ages to put it together. About to install an Innovate LC-1 which can datalog through evoscan (others can also do this).
Took less than a week to arrive from the US. And the total cost was cheaper than the dodgy DIY Jaycar one.

Yeah the Innovate and AEM are pretty reasonably priced.
What year is your car, and are you logging with just a laptop/evoscan?

It's Dec 96. Yeah using evoscan with a little netbook for logging haven't put the lc-1 in yet but it should be pretty simple to set it up to log through evoscan.
