Where/when is ECG 2011?
if its in ocean city would that be new jersey or maryland?
I might go if its not to far of a drive since I will be back from iraq around aprilish
Ocean City MD is where the ECG has always been.

ECG is a blast. I've attend the last 3 years and plan on attending this year also. Provided it doesn't fall on the weekend of May 8th. GF's B-Day. A car gathering isn't exactly the ideal Birthday experience for her. Although she has enjoyed it that last few times. Then again, I got lucky that it hasn't been during her B-Day weekend. So lets shoot for maybe the following weekend this year. :)

Reason for uninterupted time is .... I rent rooms in my house to MY friends, and her schedule conflicts with mine (I work Days, She works nights). We get little time to spend together....ALONE. Did I mention I also run a small XBOX repair side business from home apart from my 9-5 job. So my time is quite limited. Hence, her need for Quality time during special occasions like B-Days.

Im going next year as well. I didnt get out until to late in the season this year to make any meets.
I went last year for the first time and the turnout was unbelievable.. wouldve been more fun driving with the caravan but still.. empty roads at 5am with another 3S behind me were almost as fun lol

There are usually caravans. If nothing through WV in particular there should be something through VA or the western PA guys. Keep your eyes peeled as it gets closer and you should see some threads pop up about it.Quote:

Hey, if you go to ECG, you'll have almost EVERY reputable 3/S tech within shouting distance! If you're going to break down (and it happens to at least one of us almost every year, no better place for it to happen than a Gathering.)

I'll be in OC for cruise weekend which I think is the second or third weekend in May. Are you guys trying to go before that intentionally or...? Must admit it is mainly Camaro's and trans am's
They usually hold it before the cruise week so we can actually block off a set of hotel rooms at one hotel. Cruise week tends to get packed pretty quickly and I believe the rates go up at the hotels right about then.Quote:
