WEll, got the car back together running good and gonna get a few runs at the strip logged then gonna get rid of her. Too much drama with this platform and im gonna just move on. Tired of being ridiculed for asking questions from the knowledgeable peeps on here. I would like to thank everyone who has helped me in the past. But, this will be my last post on here. So, maybe if I actually do sell the car you will see her back on here.

I'm sorry you feel that way Mike. If you were having issue with other members responses to your posts I wish you would have said something.
I'm not sure if you're serious this time or not but disregard all the hate from people complaining that you start multiple threads for different part installs or different questions. Eventually this info will need to be here for new owners. It isn't like we have the 3SI database so I don't see a problem with it. People can choose to ignore what they don't want to read. With how many motors, turbos, and transmissions you have been through with this car I'm surprised you want to give up now since your car actually runs good. With the drivetrain upgrades now I don't think you should have a problem. I know you probably want to sell it while nothing is broken but eventually parts will need to be replaced and that can be part of the fun in fixing it depending on how you look at it. You will regret it after you get rid of the car and just think how hard it would be to have another 550WHP car for what you'll get out of it. In any case, sell me the car cheap and I'll put you out of misery. ;)

yeah, just leave the forums for a month or whatever it takes and drive the car. Get the car back together and stop upgrading, just enjoy it as it is or you'll never be happy.

Seriously, take a break and enjoy your car. Sometimes you just get overwhelmed but ALWAYS come back or regret for getting rid of it. I plan on keeping mine because its a toy that I love and can continue to evolve, just like you have. Maybe you just did too much at one time. Ive been slowly building mine with support mods for when I throw on the 13T's. I couldnt be happier.
Hell Mike, I enjoy your threads! I don't give a fat lady's ass if I have read a similar thread or a duplicate one on here that was also on 3si. It helps me keep on point with the seven 3s cars I now own. There are too many keyboard mechanics on here, as well as 3si, that their opinions mean zilch to me. Don't let ANYONE detour you from your goals!

Mike, if you're pissed off that I said what I said in the ISC thread. Great, I hope you get that I'm doing it in your best interest! Quit fucking modding your car and enjoy it! There doesn't have to be just "one more thing". You don't need any of that shit to go fast or enjoy your car. What you do need is keys and a tank of gas, and to drive it like you stole it! You can do that without all that shit guys in the internet keep telling you you need.

Jeremy, You live 2 hours away, i only have sundays off and Im married with a 15yr old and 6 and 2 yr old. Forgive me for not being able to drive 2 hours to Denver, for a meet at 10pm at night, then "cruise for a couple hours" then drive another 2 hours home. Ya, that goes over really well with Melissa. I never said anything for you to come down and help. You offered the help. I drove up there the 1st time and the second time you came down. I gave you money the first time then you stayed at my place the second time and i think i filled the truck up didnt i? Either way, i was nothing but humbled by what you HAVE done for me and have nothing but theutmost respect for your knowledge.
Im not a kid, dont like to be treated like one. If i feel like im being talked down to, then i react. The thing is, I do enjoy my car. Yes, I listen to alot of the guys I know have been around the block. Maybe I should just stop, take a breath and enjoy my car. There is nothing that would thrill me more than to drive to Denver and go race around but I have a family, one that depends on me alone, and if anything happened to me then what? Actually I can see both sides of this. My advice to you Mike is read more and do less. There are a lot of people that post that don't know as much as they think they do. Or they know a lot but cant explain themselves. You have to get multiple opinions sometimes to arrive at the truth. My solution to raising the family was to do very little to the car other than enjoy it. Now that the kids are grown I'm getting more money and more time for the car.
See, that's what I'm sayin'. How much time this past few months did you spend on modding? If you took 1/4 of that time and spent 8 hours driving (what you built) how happy would you be? OMG, if you told Mellisa, "I'm goin out for a few hours when everyones asleep and its not taking away from family time." Do you think she would say no? Quite the contrary, I bet she says "go, spend a few hours letting loose vs. spending every free min you get obsessing on that car."
You guys always speak of the club as if I'm cheating death every weekend. Truth be known we're actually law abiding citizens that get loose every once in a blue moon. It's a pals club. Racing's a very very small part of what we do and why we get together.
You ever wonder why engineers, lawyers, doctors, and some of the world most successful and happy people obsess on hobbies like golf and cars and crazy vices like MMA and shooting guns? Its therapy. Their successful because they get that time for themselves and network with guys that relate and appreciate the sentiment. You get a little piece of heaven, just enough to keep the drone like day_to_day from destroying you.
Some guys go to the gym for an hour or two every day or a couple of times a week and pound weights and etc. How is this any different? You ask for a couple of hours once or twice a month that imparts nothing but rest. Truth be known you actally get that rest and relaxation back by sacrificing sleep time doing something you love.

Mike, sometimes it's just best to take a step back from your car for awhile. Think about what's important to you, if it's really worth the time and energy to have a modded car. If you decide it is, then just take things at your own pace, and don't be afraid to ask questions. The sad fact is, most of us old timers have posted in just about every thread imaginable on every type of mod or problem imaginable, and that was years ago. But I'd like to say "Sorry" on behalf of the long time members here if we haven't always been helpful. But, J.Fast has a point to be made... all the groundwork in modding these cars (especially at your horsepower levels) has been done, documented, and put to bed. You don't need to be trying a lot of mods to achieve the results you are looking for. Just stick to what has been proven to work, and everything else you can leave alone.
Whatever you do though, don't leave the platform because you may be angry with some members here. If you're going to leave, do it because you've decided that it's time to move on for the right reasons, not because you think some people are being unhelpful.
Ok, i do spend a shit ton on this car. Did I have to put on a billet tcase? No...but will I worry about my 640trq car exploding it with slicks at the strip? no. Did I have to put a hardened OS in my car? No, but will I have to worry about my stocker twisting like a candy cane at the strip with slicks? No. If i ran on the street then no, the drivetrain wouldnt be neccessary. But, i am mostly launching where i can have the most stress on the drivetrain. Do i listen to more than I should ....sometimes. Do i follow thur on everything people have told me...no.

Maybe you understand but I serously doubt it unless you've pumped 50K into supporting the ownership of a 3S. At the ripe age of 19 unless you're inherently wealthy I'd doubt you've generated that much income in cumulative wages. That's a middleclass salary for 1 year, tution for a 4 year degree, a nest egg spent.
