Retains active aero. That's a shipped price contigious USA also.
Hmmm, tempting.
Did you have to relocate the oil cooler to the front with your other set?
these are BIGGER than the GT-alley smics?
My car is a long way from stock but they are bolt on. Another member in colorado has two sets also. J. Elkins. Jason mounted one of his sets on a 1st gen VR4 DR16T car. Had both oem and 2" cx racing intercooler pipes and a Dejon blow thru running on an AEM EMS. They bolted right on and retained stock everything even front active aero.
Here's a pic of the same set mounted on J's car. It's a 1st gen with the shrouds, active aero, stock oil cooler, and etc. Mine are identical, new, in box, ready to be shipped, and have never been installed.

According to Jeff Lucius posting on C03S.org.
GT Alley SMIC's are: 8.5 X 6.5 X 5.75 = 317ci
HKS SMIC are: 8 X 8.5 X 2.5 = 170ci
GENE'S SMIC are: 8.5 X 10.25 X 4.5 = 392ci
Hmm, have to think about this one - didn't realize the ci was so much larger than HKS.
Side note, interesting how some group buyers got their products, even extras, while others like myself only got 1/4th refund - chump doesn't even respond to pm on the other car platform forum.
Anyway, PM your paypal just in case I feel the urge to spend money.
All PM's answered... First deposit takes it...

Wow! These are nice. I got some stuff selling on eBay. Will get ahold of you next week if it all sells!
BUMP!
Odly enough, these are still available. Would go really great with some DR750R's or something with stock radiator. Keeps active aero and etc....
Sale pending... money talks...
Sold to me.
Payment cleared... I'll get you international shipping info tomorrow.
Nice stuff man... you'll be really happy!
Only 13t's actually.
My car is a eurospec 1996 VR4 (sold in Germany imported to Sweden later on) and it's still mostly stock apart from pre cat eliminators, a stainless steel exhaust and downpipes.
I may go the flash ecu path later on but for now I staying mostly stock. The reason I bought these is because my stock intercoolers look really worn, here is picture from a few years ago, they look even worse now:

I figured why not do an upgrade while I'm at it.
Been on the phone with Jeremy today to get the shipping sorted so hopefully they'll be here sometime next week.
Shipping from the US of A to Sweden is anything but cheap so a big thanks to Jeremy for riding around and checking prices at UPS, Fedex and USPS.
A chicken may be to exaggerate a bit, it was a small bird of some sort :rolleyes3: I didn't do the fins on the intercooler any good though...
lol my stock smic's looked like that:p
You will like these way more! I snapped a few pics before I said goodbye to these baby's. Here's some teasers while you're waiting for them, Rob.
Again, they're on their way I PM'd you the tracking information.

Jeff check your PM inbox please.
We good on this or did USPS drop the ball? Any issues with customs?
This has been a nail biting experience but the second intercooler finally arrived yesterday.
http://pics.unlogic.se/3000gt/projekt/IMAG1619.jpg
The intercoolers where sent using USPS in separate packages to reduce the shipping cost which is prohibitively expensive to start with. The first intercooler arrived in just four days... the other one however was first missent by USPS and subsequently went on a tour of their various sorting facilities for a week before it reached Sweden. When it finally reached Sweden the customs got hold of the package and kept it for a week...
The second package was quite molested after spending two weeks in the mail system and it had two big holes one at the bottom and one on the side. Thanks to Jeremys excellent packaging however the intercooler was intact apart from some small scratches on one side. :bigthumb:
God that those things look awesome.
