91 stealth RT won't start

Coopkill and I went to look at a 91 stealth RT that is up for sale for $1500.00 on craigslist. We wanted to fix the car for him mainly not really buy the car although it is in decent shape.

Problem is it will turn over when it wants to basically. Owner stated it will usually start right up when it's cold but after driving it for a while and trying to start it again it doesn't.

Owner said he purchased a new ECU and had some other mechanical work done to it, coopkill may remember all of the issues.

Kelvin (jimmy the cow) suggested it may be the crank angle sensor halls sensor or something like that (in the 91's).

We told him we'd rather see it fixed for him to enjoy than sell it.

Narrowed down to possible MFI relay issue...

Said a mechanic grounded one of the pins on the mfi and it would start and run for a couple days, then back to not firing... MFI, ECU are new.

Cam angle sensor

will be checking for voltage at the pump, spark, and cas signal...

Bill and I were wondering what these 2 plugs go too.. they are behind the battery.

I think the one in your hand goes to the windshield fluid bottle to measure low fluid levels or perhaps to pump the fluid out.

The other one is also unplugged on my car and may be for an option the NAs don't have.

1991 Dodge Stealth

No spark, we can't hear fuel pump when we looked at it. Plugs were bone dry when checked them as well.

Fuel pump doesn't prime if thats what you mean.

Yes. Bill still thinks the CAS. Sure he will be on here at some point. We took fuel line off the rail and there was no pressurized fuel. Just some residual dripped out.

Would CAS issue be tripping the relay inside the car to not let the pump work? Owner said that the relay on passenger side of the center console had to be grounded out in order to start the car. Anybody know which pin would need to be grounded on it?
