The most anticipated free agent in history? I was hoping he might become a Redskin, but it seems he's let my team know he won't have any interest in them. Where do you think he'll wind up?

If those are my choices and I'm Peyton, I'm going with San Fran.
All I want for Christmas is Peyton to go to the Titans. They would fill the stadium every damn game. The money they would make off of T shirts would pay for the whole team.
I'm a Skins fan and I love Peyton but I don't think he'll come to an incomplete team in Eli's division. I just hope he goes to a team above us in the draft. RG3 here we go.
If I had the #1 pick, I'd have a really hard time taking Luck over RG3... But as a Texas fan, I saw a lot more RG3 than Luck.
He's not going to NY I can almost guarantee that. He wouldn't go to Washington, either the state or the District. He'd be a fool to do either. The most logistal place would be Miami.
And as for RG3 and Luck I see it this way. You have to look at the longterm. Luck is more of a pure NFL style QB and therefor will likely be around longer so he is the logical #1.
i've read about both. everything i've seen thus far says that luck has that je ne sais quois that manning had in college. manning vs. leaf--that was the argument. we all know how that turned out. i predict the same thing with rg3 as happened with leaf.
when manning didn't return anytime this season, and the colts dropped the entire season--it's a golden opportunity to take a much needed #1 pick. the conflux of events is just too perfect NOT to go with luck. and let's face it, the colts have a GREAT eye for talent. edge over williams? manning over leaf? the guys upstairs know what they're doing. if they cheated half as much as bellichek, manning would already have more rings than he has fingers.
I think the Texans.
But I really hope Philly makes an attempt to get him.
My biased guess is the Chiefs. My realistic guess is the Cardinals.
Jeremy
The 'experts' seem to think Cardinals, Chiefs, or Dolphins. I haven't heard much about the fins, but the Cards and Chiefs have openly expressed a lot of interest.
Jeremy
He's coming to Chicago! lol Da BEARS! He left my #1 team, he's not coming to Chitown, my #2 team. I think Miami is his best bet.
sounds like Denver...guess the Tebowing will be elsewhere!
Well, you can count out the Redskins, they're drafting RGIII. And the Jets just gave Sanchez an extension. Can the poll be edited so I can add the Titans and Broncos?
The fact that the Jets gave Sanchez an extension tells us they have no common sense.
Titans owner Bud Adams wants Peyton Manning
Fuck yes!!!!! :rolling: Please happen!
bring it byatches... Peyton is a waste of cash...
He is just looking for a stupid desperate team to pay him millions so he can ride off into the sunset with another 20 million.
Some damn dumb nfl teams... I mean the broncos got suckered into taking Brady Quinn, they have to be dumb enough to get peyton since tebow isnt going to last as a nfl qb..
Browns tried colt... but he is concussion prone and a bad ol is a real bad mix...
chad henne.... rofl... he has to be laughing waiting for some REALLY dumb team to give him a big signing bonus aka guaranted cash... morons. Like Indy would have let him go if he wasnt done, they got fed up getting suckered last year for what 15 million to do nothing?
peyton has a few good years left in him, that i believe. indy just found itself in a situation that just doesn't come around that often. they've consistently won their division--and then this year dropped to worst record in NFL. that, combined with an exceptional QB coming available, and their current QB "over the hill" (in NFL terms) just made a perfect conflux that spelled the end of peyton in indy.
peyton will produce no matter where he goes. his salary is hardly "wasted". peyton will have more career longevity than flutie and much more relevance than favre. he'll also know when to quit. peyton will become the larry bird of the NFL. he will be a coach, and could likely be a team president someday.
so far he's met with:
denver
arizona
miami
and soon
tennessee.
now the word is that he knows or has ties with people on 3 of these teams (miami being the odd-man-out). personally, i don't see tebow mania drying up this fast. maybe if he was one & done, but that's not what happened, and i think denver will want to keep him around--so manning isn't a solid play for them. so in my book, cards, titans and dolphins--but i do think titans have the best shot.
I agree, some people around here have been down playing him going to the Titans but I’m starting to think it will happen. The only state that likes the guy more than Indy is Tennessee. Bud Adams has made it pretty clear he will do what it takes and for good reason. He will be able to sell out preseason games with Peyton here. lol
I get the Peyton/Titans appeal, but let's be honest, there's not a lot of talent on the offense of the Titans. Peyton will want to be on a team that has a shot at a SB this year. I picked Miami in the poll, but it's looking more and more like Denver will be the best fit for him. AFC team, weak division, talent on both sides of the ball and with Elway running the franchise, he'll pay a big contract for a QB of Manning's stature.
Um, you’re a little off there. The Titans have a great offensive line. Arguably the best in pass protection allowing the 2nd fewest sacks in the NFL. I’d say that is something Manning is pretty interested in. There is Chris Johnson, he had a bad year but watch what happens when they develop a good passing game. They have talented receivers, with the running game struggling last year they were probably the difference that made it a winning season. Manning would be a great fit. I think the Titans sign him and I’m not saying that just because I want it to happen. :p
They are meeting with him today, yeah my fingers are crossed. :D
Now that I look at it the Titans had a better offence than any team on the poll except for Washington and they are just right above TN. Lol
I can't name a WR on the Titans off the top of my head and all the big name WR's have been signed. I know they have a good line and Chris Johnson, but who will the guy with all the passing records throw to?
How many years has it been since Tennessee had a WR anyone could name?
Maybe they need to shoot themselves in the leg or wipe their ass on a goalpost to get noticed  The Titans still have a better offense than the other teams Peyton is looking at.
He is supposed to have narrowed it down to Denver and Tennessee. Denver might have a better defense by a tad but I'm putting money he is picking the Titans.
I'll let this guy make my argument for me...
