Holy shit. What, did he hit a tree? They trans is fuccckkkeedd
I got a ton of e-mails asking if it was my car. :p
Ouch :( I can't believe that was so long ago already. I remember texting the shit out of Ryan to make sure he was ok
Don't text and drive kids :p
And for all the Rota haters...they survived!!!
Here its still legal to dial numbers or look through your phone. So you can say that but they can still give you inattentive driving.
And I dont know how the police are in your town, but when I see ours, they are on the phone 85% of the time. They are suppose to protect and serve.
Horrible day
Thanks Mike. That was a shitty day. :(
For those who don't know, it was at the NEHA Mt. Philo hillclimb 2009: New England Hillclimb Association (NEHA) - Philo
It was my own dumb fault - I might as well have been texting while racing. Late braking over a crested turn is a no-no when your tires are too cold, suspension is too stiff, and you're going way too fast. Especially when you're racing up a mountain with trees on both sides and no run-off at all.
That car was an era of my life. Started with an ex-gf, then college, good times in Easton, PA and Philipsburg, NJ, great friends and then drama at GZP, graduating from college and another ex-gf. That car changed my life. I met all you great people on the other forum, made some awesome friends, and have done a lot of growing up.
I'm sure many, if not all, of you can identify with that. :)
Now, the VR-4's heart will get transplanted into my new Stealth and hopefully get back on the road soon. Thanks to those who care.

I like the photos you took. I think this will make you love the Stealth even more :).
bleh didnt want to see that again
Sin, why make this thread? Not a reminder I would want to see.
lawdogg, is it coincidence or ceremonial that you moved on from a flat black 3k to a gloss white Stealth? :)
Though sad and scary, it's a good reminder that physics can be a bitch!
Be careful when your out there all...
Gloss white Stealths are sexy. 5% of all Stealth owners know that.
i wasnt trying to bring up sore spots for ryan. Believe me, Im thankful to god he walked away. there is alot of drivers doing road racing and drag racing and street racing. Just be safe out there. I also watched ryan bring that car along from nothing to that flat black sexiness. My car came along way too and so has a ton of our fellow 3sr's. lets just be safe and use ou heads out there. Ryan you the man bro.
