Shawna's Evo X

I'm gonna need a new name. 4g63girl isn't going to work for this one!

So far so good with this new mitsu.

100% Stock Dyno:
239 HP
251 TQ

Enkei RPF1 18x9.5 +15
Yokohama Advan (245-40-18)
NRG Black Aluminum Lug Nuts
Megan Racing Track Series Colovers
Hotchkis Rear Sway Bar
Agency Power Rear Adjustable Control Arms
AWD Motorsports Aluminum Driveshaft
Nokya Yellow Fog Lights
Hallman Pro (25psi)
HKS Super Hybrid Air Filter

Tuned (4-22-11)
320 HP
330 TQ

We have some 2-piece Giro-Disc rotors coming in for it and Tomei Cams are here along with an Exedy Twin sitting in a purple box next to my desk.

The engine bay looks completely stock aside from the black Hallman hiding. It's gonna be a sneaky car. I know I've ruined a few guys' afternoons already. :)

I plan on beating the poop out of this car at the IDRC in Ohio, May 28 weekend. It's already got 6500 miles and this month alone it's going to Carlisle, West Point and Ohio... Next month, driving to Florida!

Loving the heated leather seats!

awwww, I didn't get a neat sticker on my rear window. Car looks great and fantastic numbers! What would you guesstimate a tune like that would run?

What weekend at carlisle?

What did you do with the stock rims? Like the new ones alot tho!!! Looks good man.. I'm jealous. I drove a 600 hp 05 this weekend and well it made me want to go buy one like right meooowww.

Nice Stance

Thanks guys! The weekend at Carlisle is the Performance & Style Show, May 14-15. I'll be there wandering around the STM booth taking pictures.

A stock ECU tune is $400

We still have the stock rims. Probably run those on the trip to florida. I Drove this through the winter too, so I'll probably keep the rims. It's hard keeping the car clean. Salt sucks. But she survived. Quite beautiful still, right meow. :)

WOW. Looks a-m-a-z-i-n-g. Awesome results from the tune as well! Very jealous.

Thanks Shawna!

Beautiful car :)

More more more more more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did I mention MORE?!

Shit. I love Evos. Yours looks mind-numbingly good.

I want one so bad, they're just so far out of my price range. :'(

Very nice Shawna. Did you take the pics?

Scotty

Yes, I'm lucky enough to take all the pics of these lovely cars. It's a rough life I got here. :)

These new Giro Disc rotors have been great! They started to "sing" a bit on light braking, but I haven't heard a squeak out of them in about a week. Might be they just needed time to settle in.

Here's some more info on the Giro Disc's:

Up to 8,000 miles on her now! Just came back from a trip from Rochester to West Point Military Academy. It was comfortable as always the whole way.

I'm looking forward to the IDRC trip this weekend in Ohio!! Cant wait to get on the track! We might have the clutch installed by then (I hope) but I know we have some shop cars to get finished up too.

Anyhow. On to the pics! {thumbup}

I ran a 12.9@106 that day, but my best so far was a 12.7@109. I think I can drive my way down to a 12.5 though!

Aren't you supposed to not smash the cones? :p Still on the stock clutch?

^ This man has taste ;)

Thanks guys, Yes, still stock clutch. I hit a whole lot fewer cones than the MAN did :p

The headlights don't bother me so much because the car is white. If it's not an eye sore, it's not worth the risk of disassembling and possibly damaging the headlight. I have seen some really beautiful conversions though, with red halo rings. Looked real hot!

I love me a white evo x

You are very lucky!

May I ask what camera/lens you use?

Haha, just teasin' ;) Keep us posted on the stock clutch. I've already had a few scares (felt slippery, kinda stunk, etc) on it, and I don't exactly beat on it.

we've had a few of those insances, it doesnt hold any kind of launching, but other then that it still holding up. Theres an Exedy twin sitting on the shelf waiting to in once things settle down around here.

I want an Evo X  or at least a 2gb DSM again...this time 4G63

Thanks guys! So far so good. It's got 14,200 miles on it now. haha, that ain't right. Stock clutch is fine though.
