Just want to see how people normally do there manifolds, and piping on the 16g kits. I searched around but didnt find to many pics of kits installed.
I have an idea, and i just want to see if its possible or just completely stupid.
Thanks,

I've never liked the way I did the IC pipes, but when I made them I pretty much followed the tried and true techniques. The next IC setup will be liquid to air, so I'll likely never optimize this. However, there has to be a way to route the charge piping away from the exhaust that won't create a head ache when it comes time to pull the trans.
I've always loved this approach. Not really for its simplicity though :)

I also love that setup ^
^ seconded.
That is similar to Ray's old chameleon colored vr-4, no? I've always wondered why no one made a kit like that.

+1 I wish my billet 5857s were fit that way. It would have made things much easier and swapping turbos isn't so bad plus getting to all the bolts in the car sucks. I need to re-do the intercooler pipes, y, and route the front intercooler pipe underneath for the turbo.Quote:

imho, headers which merge all three cylinders in a short amount of space > headers which merge them after a long run of tubing. even if you are going to mount the turbo in an "other than stock" location, you'll save space & weight by running a single, merged pipe to that location, rather than three separate tubes and merging them just prior to the exducer.
How much power does the feline add? :pQuote:
