I'm considering it. But I do not have a phone that this will work with and I can't find any PC software that I can use to check things out.

I am not sure I want to add something and not be able to deal with any issues that might come from it.

The android SDK comes with an emulator. I've never used it, but know it's there.

Just updated my Droid X to the latest 2.3.34 and flashed a new fancy ROM along with root. This would sweeten the deal even more :)
