wont start this morning?

OK, well I leave for Vegas tomm and decided to drive her before I leave...Started it up and it would start idle for a half a sec then kill out. did it like 5 times and would idle for half a sec then immediatly kill itself. Not sure y? Last time I drove it(2 nights ago) was fine and only had it parked. ? Kinda wierd. battery died, so it was on the charger after first few attempts and still nothing. (btw i know i need a new battery, but after it starts she is usually good for the day)

Why would it try to idle then kill itself? I didnt touch the egine bay or anything at all??

Everything I can think of you have already gone aftermarket on.

Are you still using the MFI relay? That could cause it if its bad.

No. This relay supplies power to the ECU and the fuel pump. Not sure if it gets eliminated with AEM and hot wire kit.

well, when i turn the key to on, i hear the walbro whining. once it stops i start the car. i know its got power and all. checked the eci fuse, and its all good. maybe, I'll uplug the neg cable, wait till tonight and then retry....

Colder day? a friend had that issue and had to make a adjustment on the AEM. I can't remember if he leaned it out a bit or richened it up. It was just an issue with the mixture when the engine was cold.

Is it cycling into warmup enrichment and then dying (not ramping up rpm till your coolant warms up)? Or not starting at all?

Have you tried checking the dizzy scre to see if its moved on its own from you revving it often? I've seen Errons car have the same problem and a little super glue on the srcew fixed the issue.

Boost leak test it and see what you come up with.

So you've already bypassed the fuel pump relay and resistor? Done the click click start fix? Your on a 1st gen so it's probably not the crank/cam sensor.

You have so much changed it will be tough to diagnose.

Could have also fouled your plugs from coming off your 2-step too! Are you setup to cut fuel and ignition on your settings?

it was just fine the night i parked her. no issues at all. J, ill take a vid and send it to you if you want so you can see what it is doing. turns on and immediatley dies like i shut off the car? checked the plugs when i changed the valve cover and they were fine. ??

Maybe I'll change the plugs to my coppers. hmmm

Its not the plugs, if it was it wouldnt start for a second. My money is on the fuel being shut off or power to the ignition being pulled.
