NSW Meet Sat 29th Jan, Location Homebush(Olympic park) P6 carpark

Well guys, we need to have a NSW Meet for suuuure, this will be the second big meet that I'll be attending can I recommend the P6 carpark at Olympic park/Homebush? Anyone? if we can stick clear of any area's infested with "Lads" that would be great.

Lots of photo's, Lots of chat and if everyone's keen we can go to Ribs and Rumps for Lunch/Dinner

List of people comming (so far)

1: MR2!
2: BloodBath Ben (New crazy TD05 yumm)
3: Just Gaz
4: Woodzy
5: ZeroAU (Hopefully)

MORE INFO! Since there are no less than 5 P6 carparks around homebush this is the one just below the massive ferris wheel at the corner of Australia and Murray Rose Avenue! (not the main bit that they have now closed off, the other bit.

I will be looking over the area to make sure P6 is a good place to meet this weekend

Of course i'll be there.

if you post it on Mitsu Aust, i assure you you'd have a bunch of magnas evo's and fto's... although, only seeing GTO's would be sick as

Put me down as a should be able to go.

What time suits guys?

Dunno man, depends on what you want to do...

Option 1: I'm easy for just a meet up and chat/eats/drinks or what evs.

Option 2: Earlyish meet, I understand we have a Bathurster coming, but similar days from Homebush have progressed to a cruze up the F3 or better still Old pacific HWY from Berowra to Petes Ridge then down to Wisemans ferry....it's always a blast..there is a Pub and Kiosks/Parks BBQ areas ect ect at Wismans, end up there in the Arvo, means we are not too far away from Parramatta area and home we go.

hope you folks keep dry, from what our news channels show it looks like a unblievable flooding.

Anything really wet is either a 1000km north or south of us, so we'll be ok.
I'd prefer to meet during the day, less fuckwits around... ribs n rumps sounds good :)

would everyone be keen for a drive? I expect the Pac + wisemans run to take 1-2 hours ? the Pac is also fairly highly "regulated" be cobba's soooo yeah what's everyone want?

Personally my vote is have a chat look around the cars and then have a good dinner, I use to the the pac regularly and I know too many poeple who have lost their licence due to the whole group of cars getting excited...so I'm hesitant to do it anytime other than very late at night..

maybe after dinner those still keen for a drive could go up pennant hills, to Galston, then through the Galston gorge, then up the pac, then back down wisemans? 3 good roads :)

lol ....ironicly...... i got a letter last night....... I loose my licence on the 27th of Feb for 3 months :( (no working speedo)...... got pinched coming back from gosford on the F3, which is the other PAC road lol, on fathers day doing 149...bahhhhh, i can guage 50 60 70 80kms ok with rev range but @ 110 i din't know what my revs should be...so i'm just cruzing down the road and there are all these dicks hogging the fast lane, so i drop back to 4th and scoot around them and thats when i got done.......so it turns out the dicks were all probably sitting on about 125-130...... wtb 1g speed sensor, I can't find one lol.

Anyway, during that off time, litteraly today i'm arranging for it to get all panel damage fixed and get a nice respray :)

Never seen a cop on the old pac though.....only 1million motorbikes hahaha.
But you can clearly even run that road at the 80km speed limit the whole way, and all the twistys and windies, even the speed limit is a challenge to keep.

and as a regular runner of that route (grew up in Berowra)...i usually start at Berowra and go to Old Pacific to Brooklyn then through Mooney Mooney to Pete's Ridge, then I turn off to gosford and complete the road, it's probably the best part. Then do a U turn and do the same run back....or at Pete's Ridge just continue straight ahead onto Wisman's ferry.

FUCK IT..think i might even do it tomorrow, what you up too tomorrow Mike :P

as far as the day goes on the 29th, i'm cool with a look at our cars and chats and that stuff.

Tomorrow I'm actually at Dural helping my folks out for the day :p I did promise them it for xmas :D

thats works, in the arvo dude, go it from dural back to galston the to berowra waters via that ferry (i used to work down there ) then do old pac to brooklyn and back, it's quick as, i'll go visit a mate in asquith and i'll do galston rd and come meet you at dual in the arvo.

Just some food for thought man, i'm bored hehehe.

ok back to cleaning my interior...she's aged...i rekon i be going to visit an interior dude soon. I think i'll keep the seat for the electronic abilities ( i know it's heavy but i like it ) but i might go from cloth to a nice new quality leather finish and get the old sponge replaced, wonder how much both seats converted to leather would cost?.....hmmm

you want to make your car even heavier? :p

yea had just decided on a different route for the GTO.

Dad has given me his Original 555 96' Colin McRrae Sti so i'm going to roll cage it and track that instead.
Given I now have 2 beautiful cars....this is the start of my mini Jay Leno's garage.

GTO plans are now to just put execusioners and a nice front mount to finish up what i've spent already on it and work on the interior with a nice quality system and leather n stuff and she's my GT (O) car :)

Heads up that this is the P6 near the ferris wheel (Cnr of Murray Rose & Australia Avenue)

ok Lets go with 6pm, then at 7 or when everyone is sick of talking we can wonder on over to Ribs & Rumps...

I'll be there at 6 :)

Orrite, more fun

I rang up to make a booking, the earliest they can get us in there is 9pm!.... so anyone got anything else in the area?

I've made a booking...but yeah.

A good meet! had Andrew from Victoria & Just Gaz turned up in a VR4 (very nice!) with his family :)

Have those pics been edited? They are very dark.

I love meets. Can't wait till mine is up and running again.

Scoot

Nice one guys!

not edited...tooo lazy :) it was just as the sun was setting :(

Get that flash going Michael-son. It will give you a little more detail. (like around the rims)

Scotty

With all my panel damage...Low light was the trick :)

waiting on quotes n stuff still can't wait till the body is clean

btw, michael-sons's car needs a dam respray too :P

But the Gen 3 was sooooo clean. 9years makes a difference in age let me tell you lol...so does the price too i guess.

yeah the Gen3 is immaculate....I've had 7 years of not worrying so much about the outside :p

btw flash was on auto...the camera diden't trigger it though due to the sunset.

Auto schmauto! You can dissmantle a bloody GTO, you can turn on the flash. :p

Scoot

ehhhh mleh. atleast the pictures did not look antiqued like the first meet!
