I built myself a little VMWare ESX whitebox for my IT certifications. Used a HP DC7900 SFF and added 16GB of DDR2 RAM. (The little box that could). I will be building an I7 box for my wife for video editing soon. So we are both getting pretty nice gifts.

Bought myself some .20 over pistons for a my SOHC. Waiting on a block to dunk and bore. I'm building up the SOHC, and yes I've heard it isn't worth it. But I don't care. I've got some great deals on parts that make it worth it to me. I've almost collected everything I need for a completely rebuilt/upgraded NA SOHC motor.
I am making a donation to an organ transplant concern in Pittsburgh to help defray the cost of a kidney transplant; my little sister is giving a kidney to the friend of a friend of hers.
I am so damn proud of her.

Eh, I bought a house a few months ago, and with some of the money I decided to not put into the downpayment, I bought a projector, screen, and home theater seats for my media room. That's my present. (I still have some car parts that I asked for a few years ago that I have yet to put on the car, so car parts was out LOL)
