We have a Five Guys in Staunton and I refuse to eat there.
Nasty greasy come to mind.

5 Guys is up on Johnson City, good ... but $20 for two burgers, fries & sweet tea is a bit steep
Best I've found is Central Park
I voted Five Guys, because the one What-A-Burger I had was a POS, sloppy floppy thing.
Same here. Never been to a What-a-burger. We do have a 5 guys here. Good food, but holy crap it's definitely pricey. Learned real quick to split a fry, no need for two seperate orders.Quote:

it's hard to impress me with a burger. different restaurants have different appeal. i like steakburgers from steak n' shake. i like fuddruckers. heck, even applebees has redeeming qualities.
one of the best i've ever had was 96th street steakburgers in indy. lord those puppies were good. another is farmer boy's--which i had when i was in vegas. those are pretty killer.

Never had whataburger but as far as fast food goes five guys is about the best I've had.

Dos Carnes! Five Guys has great burgers and those heavenly fries are second only to Thrashers. It may be a little pricey but all the toppings are free, and its a heck of a lot of food. We had a Fez from Argentina that my frat kind of adopted and he ate five guys every single day for a whole damn semester lol.

The nearest what a burger is 1000 miles way, and the nearest five guys are in the next state over, 20 miles. We do have three guys, but they sell pizza. I might be able to get to the five guys tonight.

bison burgers > everything else. doesn't really matter which place you get them from.
Never heard of the other place but Five Guys makes the best tasting burgers I've have ever eaten at a restaurant. As for In & Out, I will never go back again. There was not one damn thing special about their burgers. They taste like every other burger I've eaten at a drive in and mom an pop diner. Nothing special in the least.
Five Guys blows In & Out's doors off.
