I was browsing eBay about 5 minutes ago, and came across this exhaust system. anybody heard about them? It seems really cheap and it would be a full exhaust, not the cat-back they call it. Has anybody bought this? will it work on an N/A?

post a link, there are a few different sellers with the same exhaust. I have one version that it Great.
Well, this isn't the one I was looking at earlier, but, it is the same picture. my biggest question is whether or not it would fit on a non-turbo.

i asked the seller a few days back and he said it will only fit the vr4 you could make it work on a na but you would need a dif downpipe
Here is a full write-up/review on the exhaust that I did a month ago! http://www.3sgto.org/showthread.php?...t-MUST-READ-gt
Search is your friend....:)
Sorry! That's my fault. I should have used the search feature.
I have a good custom down pipe, do you think there is any way that I could get the rest of the exhaust except for the down pipe? will it bolt up? I guess these are questions I should be asking the seller, huh? I'll report back when i get some answers. This might be a good alternative to buying borla or something, well, cheaper at least.
Just order the full exhaust and sell the DP! That's what I did. I have a 3sx DP and the exhaust bolted right up. I turned around and sold the DP and made some money back...:)
^^This^^
the seller wont split it up. there are actually 2 sellers, surewin, and always-bargains guy. their exhausts use the exact same sample picture. they both said they wont split it up.
so buy it and sell the downpipe as was stated. thats what i will do, im just waiting to get one for a good price
that is a great idea! what kind of power gains have you guys seen with the DP-back?
I couldn't tell you....LOL. I built the car from the ground up and I have only drivn it around my neighborhood as I don't have it registered yet. I have nothing to compare it to as this exhaust is the only exhaust that has ever been on the car.
I think a stock vr4 made like 260-270 just from this exhaust but I think FSRs dyno is inflated.
Stock HP on a VR-4 is 300-320 so hopefully the HP went up with the exhaust and not down...LOL :)
I will eventually get the car Dyno'd as I want to see what it will put out. The engine is far from stock as it is a TT 10:1. Running the stock 9b's and 360 but I will most likely move up to 450's as I am already needing more fuel but it may just be due to the fuel pressure not being stabilized yet "I have to install my FPR kit". Just driving it around the neighborhood I can tell it has a lot of potential. I am hoping when I have it Dyno'd to get a min of 350hp!
All my documents state differently!
Here is one example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_GTO
Documentation shows BHP(Brake Horsepower) which is the horsepower that a motor puts down without taking into consideration any of the various auxiliary components that may slow down the actual speed of the motor. BHP is what dealerships advertise. However the horsepower that matters is what is being put down to all 4 tires. Our cars take ~24% drive train loss from the engine to the tires due to all wheel drive. When dynoing a car this will show the horsepower put down at your tires not from your engine. So a stock VR4 on average is around 240 all wheel horsepower. Most BPU VR4s are about 260-270. So to see this exhaust on a bone stock VR4 put down 260-270ish was really impressive but it is rumored that FSRs dyno that this car was dyno'd on is inflated a little bit.
Ok, I had a feeling you were referring to Wheel HP vs. Engine HP.
