I love love love roller coasters
The Intimidator 305 actually made me black out....Good shit!
I wish I could ride something that scared me. But I have been on just about every coaster in Texas and it hasn't given me anything to be scared about.
Intimidator 305 made me have tunnel vision on the first ride. On my next 9 I was all good though :p
I can't say any of them scared me.
Hubby is pretty tough and he said there was one turn in the dragster that actually scared him because he didn't scope out the track ahead of time..caught him off guard.
It goes from 0 to 120 in 3.8 seconds and is the most intense 17 seconds in your life!
Could you imagine what a bee would feel like upside the head at 150 mph? lol
I'd ride it in a heartbeat!
Absolutely. LOVE roller coaster. Lady and I hit every coaster in 2.5 days at cedar point not too long ago.

0-120 in 3.something seconds, straight up, straight down with a barrel roll, LAP BAR ONLY.
Sick.
You're preaching to an audience of speed junkies, Granny. What did you think the poll would look like? :p
What if you hit a bug or something? lol Or a bird, holy shit.
That ride is badass looking, though!
Kingda Ka is better. Start at 0:50. I believe it reaches 127/128 mph on launch.

And if you think that is scary, look at this.

There was a sign before you get on the ride that says this is normal and that there are safety mechanisms in place to handle it and re-launch you.
Top thrill dragster at Cedar Point is identical to this ride, aside from the hill at the end. I have to be honest, that ride almost made me poop before getting on it. I bought a picture when I got off. Me and my three band mates.... good times.
EDIT: And here it is:)

^ I was really hoping that wouldn't happen when we got on! LOL
I work at a theme park so I can ride for FREE!!!! But I love roller coasters....the last time I rode one my phone fell off the ride :( next day though I get a call and my phone still works!!!
I've been fortunate enough to have been to Cedar Point, Magic Mountain and Kings Dominion to ride the coasters. Plus, I've been on the Desperado in Primm Nevada, the High Roller, on top of the Stratosphere, (Which is no longer there) and the Ghost Rider in Knotts Berry Farm. Let's just say I love coasters!! :D
top thrill dragster is one of my favorites ever. To be honest, though, front seat in Millennium Force at night is much better. They get you to the top of the hill and turn out all the lights. Sitting up there it's pitch black and after all the lights it's hard to make out the bottom. So off you barrel at 90mph into nothing. SOOOO much fun!

This thing isn't really a coaster but at 2 ton of weight pulling you down 39 stories its fucken scary. They play with you to. Sometimes they will hang you up there, they might drop you a little then stop you and pull you back up or just re drop you then and there. You can see in the video how fast it lets go on you and you don't even get a chance.

Not a fast or big ride but its pitch black (sometimes) or they have laser lights only. Pitch black is where it gets scary as you cannot tell where you are going... Plus the sudden going backwards at the beginning gets you too.
I've been on quite a few of those giant drop things. Oh man... At King's Dominion's dropzone thingy, my friend took a bouncy ball up with him to try a trick he'd heard about...
When you drop like that, anything loose will delay a bit and fall in front of you, which is pretty cool. We got in line, and he stuffed the ball in his mouth and was acting deaf, and trying to sign, and we were just ignoring him. Everybody in line picked it up really quick that he wasn't deaf... Anyway, we made it through their pocket check and got to the top, and my dipshit friend pops the bouncy ball out, and sits it on his shorts. As soon as we drop, I watch the ball, and it doesn't go anywhere because it got stuck in a fold in his pants... About 20 feet from the bottom, it rolls off of his shorts and smashes the ground, and flies a good hundred feet up, and over the worker's booth... This chick in line watched it hit and screamed as it nearly hit her, lol. We went back later and pulled off the bouncy ball trick again, but this time successfully.
Good times...
The Drop Zone is very intense. 305 feet drop @ 75 mph.
The oldest Grandson was sitting beside me and when we stopped at the bottom his face was blood red and his eyes were as big as golf balls.
He didn't have much to say for awhile.:lol7:
After riding millennium force i promptly went to go buy its t-shirt, then back to ride it again.Quote:
