I am looking for suggestions on a nice/durable "carport" option for winter time. I would like something that can sustain PA wind and snow and that costs under $400. I rather not spend 2k on a metal 2 bay carport at the moment as I am planning on build an additional garage in the next few years.
Any recommendation would be appreciated.
Thanks
Josh
I ordered this in 2010Quote:

Not sure the site I ordered it from, but I wanted one that was stronger. It is very sturdy and held the 2' of snow we had a couple years in a row. I also ordered the walls surrounding it.
Where in PA are you? I'm not even using mine anymore and its sitting in a shed. I live in North Jersey (Morris County).
Here's the enclosure kit...

Subbed!
It's a little more than you'd want to pay, but for outdoor storage, it can't be beat.

I bought one of these for the 3K. I parked the car in it maybe 4 times.Quote:

One of the worst $300 I've ever spent
Was it 2" piping though? The one I have has 2" piping, when most have 1-5/8" or something. Mine has survived the recent snowfalls we had of 2ft.Quote:

^That was going to be my suggestion since you plan to build a garage down the road.

It's now $100 more and by the reviews it's still collapsing! POS
Yeah. It's only 1-3/8" poles, that's why. I spent the extra to get 2" poles.
Well I'm always happy to be the example for
"Don't do this"
I'm just anal when I spend. Always checking the reviews.
That one is probably good where it doesn't snow
Just save some money and buy a real garage, all this other stuff is garbage. Not to mention with a little know how you can build a real one with a few bucks more.Quote:
